Virtual Assistant + Hosting Teams

Hi,

I currently am having difficulty integrating newly hired team members onto my account. I'm not sure why but I can't seem to find the "Teams" tab anywhere. I would like to add a few team members and select their access specifically. Unfortunately the only available feature I see is Cohost. The only issue with cohosting is that I would need all my team members to share ONE cohost account to keep things organized. They also would not have access to creating claims.

Can anyone help me find the "team" tab or any potential alternative?

You can search via the Airbnb Help website @Sophia618 - it has FAQs around most aspects of running your STR business on Airbnb.

have you got professional tools turned on?

Yes I do have professional tools turned on but can't find it there. I am using Hostaway as a PMS software but they said it shouldn't restrict my ability to create teams. I'm really confused

Yes I've read the articles but unfortunately I don't see the teams function anywhere. I have over 6 listings and have activated the pro tools but still can't see it. Really confused why I can't see that feature?

There have been at least hosts saying the same thing in the last two weeks.  My only advice was to contact CS and also leave an official complaint on Feedback so that this problem can be sent to the relevant team.

It must be a bug because it's a really important feature.

I'm having the same problem. Can't find the "teams" tab anywhere. Dealing with Airbnb CS has been the typical nightmare. Have you made any progress in getting this set up? I want to add a VA to my Airbnb account, but don't want to give her full access.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with setting up 'teams'.  Have you had a look at this article in the Airbnb Help Center that @Helen3 shared in the comments below? 

If so, and you're still having issues can you share some screenshots with us and perhaps we can guide you through it? @Joan2709 is also very good with the technical side of things - can you help?

Hi!

Hmmm...Airbnb recently removed the ability for full access Co-Hosts to see financial and earnings info as well. 🤔 

If I had to guess, It could be they are making changes to both Teams and Co-Hosts functionality in conjunction for the New Winter Release software going live across the platform on Jan 26th? Perhaps that's why the Teams Tab has gone missing?

As @Joelle43 says, it could also be a "bug" and only CS would be able to troubleshoot that.

Another Host on another thread said they were told that Airbnb is not allowing new Teams to be created? Perhaps they will be phasing out "Teams" functionality?

@Rebecca can you verify with the appropriate Airbnb Team that Hosts are not able to add new Teams going forward?
