We never get bookings

We've been in the lodging business for 23 years. We've been here on AirBnB with four of our eight cabins for about a year and a half. YES, we are off the beaten path in rural Wisconsin BUT WE RARELY GET BOOKINGS. We've done everything the experts say to do. We aren't "cheap" but we aren't super expensive and we know of other AirBnBs in the area that are often booked up.
How can we get some solid advice on what to do differently so we see greater success here with AirBnB???

Hi @CowboyJoe0

You might want to update your cover photo; this one seems more appealing than the current one..

I recommend adding outdoor furniture to enhance the overall appeal of the exterior space. Comfortable seating such as a patio set, lounge chairs, or even a small bistro table can make the area feel more welcoming and functional. This not only creates a cozy spot for guests to relax, dine, or enjoy a morning coffee, but it also helps showcase the outdoor space as an extension of the home.

Provide outdoor cushions or throws to increase comfort and add a splash of color or style.

Thanks for your insights

Great suggestion! Outdoor furniture can really make the atmosphere more lively and comfortable.IMG_1724.jpeg Especially if you add a touch of color from pillows or small decorations, it will definitely be a favorite spot to relax.

Welcome to the community, @CowboyJoe0 👋

Your cabins seem lovely, and the glowing reviews you've gotten from guests speaks volumes! You mention other Airbnb listings in the area being booked up, have you perhaps taken a closer look at them to see if you can get any ideas from them?

In addition to Patricia's suggestions, some of our other hosts might have more tips: @Joseph2571 @Jason2680 @Marie8425 @Kitty-and-Creek0 what do you think of Joe's cabins?

Thanks everyone 🙂

Your photos are clear and the place is inviting, however... to my personal taste, I would like to see the view out the curtained off windows, as I am a daylight and view lover. What I see is a nice place to sleep. Thus, as an outdoors lover, I would like to see inviting furniture outside, to encourage me to the outdoors after that wonderful sleep...and please show me what lies further from the cabin. Perhaps a drone view of the cabin in the wilderness so that I can imagine the big picture and myself hiking, if I am welcome to wander all that acreage! Love it!

A possible idea.

Your Ad Description is basically the box for the Customer to be convinced your product is perfect for the Customer so they should buy.

Review your box are you presenting that to the Potential Guest?  If I am exploring for a beautiful cabin for two, it is not a selling point that you have multiple cabins.  Nature cabin but WIFI and TV that is decadent. lol  Cabins and WIFI are no guarantee.  Fireplace, sounds romantic for two.

Your traffic has decreased and that has made your display position in Search drop.

Update your listing regularly.

Any changes you make that the platform prompts you to click Save changes Date Modified Field and Search Engines read that to see if seller active.

Airbnb Custom Discounts you Sale certain days 20% and Airbnb will market Sale Days increasing your traffic.

Instabook turned on even just temporarily the Airbnb Search does give you a boost.  I turn on and off.  I like you am not the usual for last minute 1 night stays.  I turn on but insure I am comfortable with notification time and minimum days.  I have multiple listing also, for me I only Turn On Instabook 1 listing at a time.  Keeps me sane haha.
