Hey,is there a way to make sure Airbnb reports to EU authorities the right tax payer?Long story short my family rents out gra...
I allow AirBnb to collect local taxes and pay them directly to the state of New Mexico for me.
In order for me to renew my short term rental license with the City, they want Airbnb's State of New Mexico Tax Identification number, which is also called a GRT/CRS number.
Note: If Airbnb is paying the collected taxes to the State, they would have to be registered with the state to pay these taxes, Right?!
No one at Airbnb knows what I am asking for. Has anyone obtained the NM GRT/CRS number from AirBnb? If so, What is it?
I am having the same issue in Florida and now I just got a bill saying I owe back taxes! I thought Airbnb took care of that stuff!

Hi @Lori3888,
Did you ever get this information? I also need the CRS # that Airbnb uses to file our state taxes to renew my permit.
Thanks!
(My property is in Santa Fe, not Washington, DC. as my profile says.)
I'm in new mexico and it's a simple $5 renewal here:

The grt number is the same one you use to pay your local monthly occupancy sales tax with. I'm guessing you can probably look it up using the entity name.
