If anyone is struggling with this after the new update to the platform and doesn't want to spend an hour trying to find someone in support to help here is where you now update the license number.

1. Go to the listings

2. Click on the listing, so you are in the 'Listing Editor' screen

3. Click on the three lines to the right of 'Arrival Guide'.

4. Click on 'Regulations' to add the Registration Number.

Hope this helps.

I can't find any place to enter the licence number for Cyprus Laws and regulations. I might just include a photo with the licence number.

Hi all.  I added mine by enclosing the registration number in single quotation marks - '1234567xyz'.

Go to Listing - choose your Listing

In Listing editor, you have (your Space) (Arrival Guide), and (3 bars).

Clisk these 3 bars ending = edit preferences

Go to Regulation - View - edit - change - put your new STR permit number - save - done

I did, it was difficult to find after the interface update but I finally got through to support at Airbnb and they helped.

Thanks for sharing @Liz6772 , appreciate you for updating us as well 🌻

I curiously noticed that you have multiple listings! How do you efficiently manage each and every listing? Do you have a team of Co-hosts that help you get through managing them? Looking forward to learn more about your hosting journey😉

Hi there.

We are not boots on the ground, so we are not at the properties but rather a marketing team. We manage the listings, keep content, policies, and images updated, and help the clients when they have questions or run into issues with the guests. The hosts talk directly to the guests, but we are not in that loop.

That's amazing @Liz6772 ! Do you have any tips for new Hosts in keeping their listings updated? Have you noticed any difference in guest reservations when the listing is continually updated?

Great question—it goes without saying that you should make sure that everything on your listing is correct and updated and that it is as easy as possible for guests to choose your listing over someone else, even if they are a bit cheaper.

The most significant place I find people fall down is with photos; make sure you have professional pictures of the property,  beds made without wrinkles, meaning it doesn't look like someone just got out of the bed (I see that a lot), if you can use white sheeting it makes a huge difference and makes the place look clean - that is why most hotels all have top white sheets. Make sure everything is spotless in kitchens & bathrooms in the photos. Also, show pictures of anything that guests might say is a surprise, like kitchen appliances they can use, pool toys, the little welcome gift you might put out, or anything that makes it look like you have made an extra effort for the guest.

Finally, I have noticed that if you are attentive to your listing, meaning you keep it updated, answer all reviews, and keep photos updated, the listing seems to come up higher in the result. I think that Airbnb rewards hosts who are active on their listings.

Hope that helps, Liz

Thank you, @Liz6772 !  I'm not seeing "regulations" as an option when I follow these steps.  Can it be found somewhere else?  Appreciate your help!

Hi Kendall - so under the listing editor, click on the three lines to the right of 'Arrival Guide', then you will find more options to fill out, including Regulations, where you add your STVR #.

I double-checked, and it is the same on all the listings we manage, so not somewhere else.

Another way to get there is to edit the URL - so go to your listing and change the part of the URL that says /details/photo-tour

to /preferences/regulations

See if that gets you there.

Liz

Thank you!  Changing the URL got me there.  This is the message...

"You have no regulation tasks to complete at this time."  Still not seeing where to put my license number.  I swear I'm a smart person.  😊

@Kendall16 That message would be for two reasons: either your local authorities doesn't require you to add a license, or you already have added it to the system  —if neither of those is the case, then I would contact Airbnb support directly and have them assist you. Sorry I cannot be more help; I have always had the option to add a license. Liz
