Witholding tax in Italy

Has anyone else not recived notification of there witholding tax from 2024. I have not recived notice of any certificates in order to claim back the considerable amount of money that was taken off my bookings last year. 

There seems to be no information coming from Airbnb about this, is there a problem somewhere? when are we supposed to hear from them? how long do I have to wait before I know there is an issue? Airbnb know that this money is owed because I can see it in my accounts, so why is there not more information?

Thank you for leaving this question in the Community. I'm going to tag some members from Italy that they might be able to help you with this question: @Francesco2780, @Raffaele320 and @Rodrigo-Damiàn0. 

Also, it might be a good idea to search for information in the Italian Community Center, since there will be more information and conversations about Italy with tax holding collection in Italy.

Hi John,

You’re not the only one who’s been waiting — but good news: the 2024 withholding tax certificates were published today. You should now be able to find them directly in your Airbnb account.

Try checking the Airbnb app or website under:

Account > Taxes > Transaction History — from there, you should see an option to download your “Certificazione Unica” for 2024.

Let me know if you still can’t find it or need help accessing it.
