Zoning laws in Pickering Ontario

Has anyone had to deal with the city of Pickering with regard to zoning laws for short term rentals in Pickering? I’m getting harassed. Need to know where I stand.

@Minerva51 I have been getting harassed by bylaw officers saying first that I can’t operate because it’s too much like a motel which is not permitted. Then they said it was because my rentals are in buildings which are not attached to the main residence so they said you can’t have someone ‘dwelling’ in the buildings. 

are you in or near Pickering too?

@Adrienne228  Good afternoon! I have a property in Pickering (ON) and was thinking of getting into short term rental. Was wondering if you could share your experience  with me. I checked the City of Pickering website but it seems there is no such law/policies/regulation in place (as of yet). 

Would you be able to point me in right direction here?
