airbnb fees
Hi all,
I have someone who's looking to rent for a couple of months and if I don't get an answer in a couple of hours, I'll lose him.
I get a pre approval amount of $4458 and he says he has a pre approval amount of $5497. But I don't know whether the difference is the airbnb fees...or whether he's lying. If I dropped my pre approval, would I find out that airbnb then would take 20%? I've been trying conventional airbnb customer service and haven't been able to get through to anyone.
Can anyone help? Thanks!

@Chris11539 The guest will have a breakdown on what they are seeing which shows how much is the nightly fee, how much is the service fee, the cleaning fee, taxes, etc. Ask him to send you a screenshot of what he is seeing on his end. Also, you can look at your listing in incognito mode, enter the same number of guests and dates and see what price comes up.

When i look at your listing i noticed the amounts you mentioned can not be for "a couple of month's ", as it seems more likely the price for 1 month. I see the Airbnb Guest service fee is appr. 11% (long term stay tarif) and the taxes is appr the same percentage. Also there is a cleaning fee. So the figures you mentioned seems rather correct.
Please note, besides what @Sarah977 already mentioned, you can goto to your calender when managing the listing, select the time period , choose "price calculator" and see exactly all amounts guest would be charged and what you would earn.
best regards,
Emiel
