co host for a client request
A client has requested me to manage his property and to rent out rooms on airbnb website as my client uses the property from time to time also. Can anyone advise me on co hosting fees for rooms in a client's property in Dublin 8 area?
Also how you manage the cleaning and the laundry. I will not have the time for cleaning and laundry so I would have to pay out professionals for this work.
Any help or guidance appreciated as I am new to it. I am trying to get involve in more of this work as my private rental work the clients are selling their properties due to further legislation. Thank you.

Thank you Rebecca. I will research later, i am based in Dublin, Ireland. So prices can differ from cities to countries etc... I will review all as this will be helpful to me. Have a nice day.

No problem @Margaret-T1.
I'll tag some hosts from the area too that may be able to pop by and give you some support. @Simon279, @Katryn2 and @Liz306 - do you have any experience with Co-hosting fees that you could share?

Thank you @Rebecca. Appreciate it. Every bit helps as I am new to it, and seeking to take on two new build properties for co hosting for my clients so need to educate myself fast....

No worries at all @Margaret-T1, it does sound like you’ve got your hands full with the new builds. Jumping into co-hosting can be a lot to wrap your head around, but you’ll pick it up as you go, and hopefully with some support from hosts here. Are you finding any part of the process trickier than expected, or is it all about getting familiar with the basics right now?

Just on research now, meeting new client next week with new build in south dublin, another client with one bed duplux own entrance apartment is interested too, I am not sure how people source airbnb cleaners as I will need support around me, I can sort out the laundry to the laundry company, but the cleaning is different process...If I am stuck I will do cleaning myself if no show etc, as it will have to be ready for next guests... I am wondering how others cope with the cleaning process of no show, and what cleaners per hour are paid etc... I am looking forward to this work, as I am a licensed letting/rental agent here so I am familiar with longer term lettings.

The vast majority of owners look for cohosts who are experienced hosts themselves as they understand all the regulations, how to many suppliers , problem guests, damage claims etc - but good for you that you have people asking you to cohost without having relevant experience @Margaret-T1

@Helen3 I have lots of experience in short and longer term rentals here in Dublin as licensed letting/rental agent, and this is useful as I am dealing with property issues all the time, and I have team of workmen and supports around me. The longer term rentals legislation is becoming more complicated for property owners and this is why they are asking me about other options. Thank you.

Ah apologies your initial post just mentioned your experience with long term rentals .
As you're also experienced in managing short term rentals you'll be more familiar than I am with how much cohosts charge in Dublin and contacts for managing cleaning and laundry . @Margaret-T1
