help with account

Hello, last year I had put our house on here and as I set this up I put it down as a business. A month later I was advised by our accountant that it should be set up under our personal names. I called Airbnb straight away and they said they couldn’t see an ABN listed and it was ok. I have now received a message from them saying its set up as a business and I need to submit documents. Can this be changed and does anyone know what I can do ? I don’t want to have issues at tax time. thanks

@Airbnb is not an Australian company or the tax department.You could make a duplicate listing and take down the one you have and set up the new one in your private names and have money paid to the same account I guess.Its not generally set up as a business unless your income is over a certain amount but the income must be added to your taxable income. Pay 150 bucks for a tax agent . Now or at tax time or both.... H
