host is not paying us for our rental?

HI

how do we get paid out when our host is keeping our money for our home?  I think his account is frozen but he owes us 2400.00 USD and we are booked for most of December?  How do we get our money?

@Jennifer1701 If I have understood this correctly you have contracted a host to list your property and is not paying you. Your only recourse is to deal with him in whatever way is allowed by your contract with him. Given that we have no idea how that contract works it is impossible to advise further.

As @Mike-And-Jane0 you're post isn't terrible clear.

did you employ someone to manage your STR for you ? And did you let them set up your listing under their profile without giving you access to the account ?

this sounds like a really difficult situation.

If you employed a cohost to manage your STR then you need to see what it says in your contract with them about payment . And if they don't pay what they owe you likely you will need to take them to court .

what references did you take up when employing them? Are they a host for their own properties in your area? 

in your situation I wouldn't accept any more bookings from the cohost. Inform them and Airbnb that as you haven't been paid you won't be accepting any more bookings the cohost has taken.

Set up your own  listing and if you want to employ a local cohost add them to your listing so you have control including for payments .
