Hi.
I started hosting 10 years ago. I use paypal. Is there a way to get paid without using paypal and its accompanying fee?

@Lisa8519 we get paid directly into our bank account. Surely this option exists in New Zealand.
@Lisa8519 If you do change your payment receipt method to your bank account, DO NOT cancel the PayPal account as it takes forever for AirBnB to process payment method changes, and you do not want your guest payments to end up in limbo.
Otherwise, you should be able to claim the fees paid to PayPal for payment processing on your taxes, thereby reducing your income claims (I am in the US, so our rental expenses may be treated differently). Perhaps another New Zealand host can help you further.
