pet fee

I saw something about a new pet fee, but I don't see where you can add it?

The pet fee is available now for hosts to add to their listing.  It is a per stay fee.  I was charging per night.  We have a 5 star retreat with lots of extras.  Our fee will be $50 per stay.

@Debi32  Hosts really need to read how this new pet fee thing is being presented to guests. On another hosting forum, hosts have said guests are being presented with wording by Airbnb that says "up to 5 dogs" and "please let your host know if you are bringing more than 2 dogs." 

A lot of hosts are going to have a rude awakening to find out this pet fee feature is not at all host-friendly.

@Debi32 OMG!! that sounds horrible! I allow 2 dogs, but not more!

@Brigitte945  There is also wording for guests when they are shown the pet fee providing a link in the booking window to tell guests they can declare fido as a service animal and hosts cannot question it.

Okay so the only way a guest can add a pet is as a service dog, or the link is about a service dog? It sure invites guests to select that option...
