pre-civil war lodging

pre-civil war lodging

I posted on here not too long ago about posting some glamping tents. But the I got to thinking about out "tool shed"

(I apologize for the messy picture, we are in the middle of working on a project)

We have this pre-civil war stone cabin. It was the original house on the property & a stopover for a trail leading to the santa fe trail. I was toying with the idea of fixing it up and renting out. It is about 10 feet from our hose where there would be a kitchen and bathroom available. We would put a composting toilet and mini kitchen in the cabin, as well as electricity. It is also about 10 feet away from our organic garden.

I have one hang up, we have 3 very friendly medium sized dogs, and this cabin shares our yard.

Would it be work a $3,000-$5,000 investment? Should we stick with a more rural "clamping" situation?
