My parents have 2 bed 1 bath basement suite and we are trying to figure out if they should have 2 listings or one. Should they have a "one bedroom entire suite" and a "2 bedroom entire suite" then manage the calendar appropriately OR should she have one listing "2 bedroom entire suite" and add an extra fee for extra people? Can anyone share some insight on this?

I am having a problem with this right now. I have a single bedroom with a queen and a master bedroom with a king and two singles in another room off of it. I was listing each bedroom seperately and at one point started to have many cancellations. People seem to want one space for themselves if there is only one bathroom. I do appreciate coming down a hall way and there is someone coming out naked.
So, If I put locks on all of the doors is it acceptable to have two listings?
@Stephen-And-Branden0 It's really up to you. If you set up the 3 listings (one for each room, plus the 2-room suite) be sure to link the calendar on the 2-room suite to each room to prevent guests from booking a room if the suite is rented, or the suite if a room is rented. I would suggest setting the calendar for the suite out further than that for the 2 rooms. This gives people the opportunity to book the whole suite. If the dates get closer and the rooms have not been rented, then you can open up the individual rooms to fill in any holes in the calendar.
