Bad feeling about the reservaton

hi, i have had my listing on for the new years period and today i got a request for 3 nights over NYE. first i had trouble pre approving the request. when i was able to approve the request the guest told me that her id wasnt verified and could i take the requirments for id verification of my listing and that she would email me the id information, to which i said no and that she would have to go through the id verification with air bnb. the listing then closed (without me doing anything to the booking) and when i went on the laptop as i was becoming frustrated with the app, it said the my property is "no longer avaliable for this guest". i dont understand what happened? should i be wary of guests like this?

I belive this guest has tried the same trick with several hosts and gotten reported to airbnb and the listing taken down as a result. Or earlier banned by airbnb and thus trying to book without revealing id. Or a combo of the two. You should definitely be wary of such requests.  

Anything unusual or any requests to operate outside of airbnb is a big, red flag.  

That said, I am not 100% sure I understand the situation as it is not clear to me if there is a booking or not.
