Bookings an apartment when it is a private room.

I am finding that 3/4 of my bookings  think that they are renting a whole apartment when it states a private room, it is such a waste of time. How can l stop this?

People don't take everything in in the description! All I can suggest is you change your listing so the first line is something like 'The room we are renting in our apartment is...'

 I think @Ben205 made a good suggestion (it's what I have done as well), even though people really do not read descriptions carefully. In my case, I specify "(my home) has a total of 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. Our one and only guest will have full PRIVATE use of the guest bedroom and bathroom which is across the hall from the bedroom. Host uses the 2 other bedrooms and en-suite bathroom".

Also, I find that people tend to focus more on the pictures, so you could specify Guest Bedroom (Private), Guest Bathroom(Private), Living Room/Kitchen (SHARED SPACE) for each picture you have.
