Can't cancel under COVID policy even if it applies to me?

I booked before Mar 14 and the policy applies to my check in date right now. When I try to cancel under extenuating circumstances, there is no covid option as suggested by someone who had done it. Does anyone else know if I have to cancel through some other means? I haven't heard back from Airbnb for 2 weeks.

@Melvin59 Not sure if this is still the case but when you are given 2 options click on 'more information' and then you may get the covid EC cancellation option.

Do let us know if this is still the case

After clicking on extenuating circumstances, I'm led to this page, and there is no such option. On desktop, I'm given the option to send the host a message but it's the same thing, no covid option.

 

Edit: on mobile i did not see the full description of the first option, "my travel plans changed..." And it continues to say sur to covid

@Melvin59 then I am afraid you'll have to ring Airbnb - phone number is in a contacts post pinned at the top of the help section in this forum.

Ideally call when Ireland is at work and you'll generally get more capable support people.
