Cancellation

Hi Airbnb,

 

On 5th of December 2017, I reserved a Christopher house in at Jervis Bay for the weekend 22nd and 23rd of December 2017.

My group had a fight so I send my host many messages to cancel my reservation on the 6th of December 2017. I thought I have completed cancellation process. Christopher doesn't mention anything about the 'Cancel your reservation'.

I think I won't be charged any fee if I inform my host that early.

I just received Christopher message on the 13th December at 19:28 to tell me to cancel my reservation.

I log in my account this morning to cancel my reservation but I realised I been charged the service fee $88.07.

As I understand with my case I suppose to receive a full refund amount because I have reported to the host immediately.

He should tell me what to do. Also, the website designed and the management instructions were very unclear to show the customer how to cancellation.

You need to inform the customers and guide them about these procedures when you receive their cancellation messages.

My Cancellation is HMZQ2DJSD8

I paid $738.07

and refund amount is $650

Service fee charge is $88.07.

Can I have my full refund fee $738.07 back, please?
