Coupon Ignored and Marked as Used

Hello, 

I got invited to Airbnb and used referal code to get a discount coupon. When I proceeded with booking, the discount was calculated in the summary, however at the last step at payment gate I got error. It refused to accept the code. So I removed the coupon from that booking to get through. I managed to make the booking, but then I noticed in my account that the coupon is marked as used. 

The coupon was not applied, but I no longer have the bonus. It is marked as used. 

Anywone can help with this?

It does not look like there is direct support here...
