Do your guests ask you for recommendations on places to eat or visit in your city?

Hey everyone!

Do your guests ask you for recommendations on where to go to eat or what to visit in your area? If yes, how do you share it with them?  We had people staying at our place and I would give them suggestions but was thinking about doing it in a more convenient way so I don't have to repeat myself over and over again.

Thank you!

We have a clipboard with a hand-picked list of recommended restaurants ( Asian, vegetarian, national etc..) coffee shops, clubs, wine bars etc...  and with all street events, fairs and festivals currently going on in the city ( there are a lot of them during the season)

It's amazing @Branka-and-Silvia0 Have you thought of putting all those things online as well so your guests can access them even on-the-go?

@Elena1133

No, I didn't 🙂  old school

Nothing wrong with it! @Branka-and-Silvia0

I have found that guests definitely prefer a hard copy book/document that they can sit and read once in the space.

If it it is possible for you, yes they ask and i just tell them which kinds of places they prefer, for telling them about the suitable places.

I have a front and back page document in my welcome binder where I list my top three favorite restaurants for 'cheap eats,' 'dining out,' ‘grab and go’ and 'best drinks.' I write a short little description and helpful tips or advice, as well as the address of the place. Guests are very appreciative and a lot of local businesses have thanked me for bring customers their way.

That's very thoughtful of you! Btw, on Yuppr you can create collections of your recommendations with the exact same name "Cheap Eats", "Dining Out, "Grab and Go" and have places listed inside. The cool part, businesses will have the address already, so your guests will only need to click on the address and either Maps on their phones will show up with the directions. Very convenient for the guests to have your places at their fingertips (btw, it's free and guests don't need to register, they can just view your recommendations). @Emilia42

@Elena1133 I enlarged a map of my area ,out about 1 km around my house and marked where the restaurants and grocery stores are. I also have a basket with menus of places that have delivery.
