Dogs in pool

We just recently had some B&B guests in the condo complex where mine is, let their dogs go in the public swimming pool. This caused the Homeowners association to close down the pool for two days while they could clean it out. Has anybody ever had an experience like this? This is so bizarre behavior.

 @Hi0 there - at but confused to be honest: it says no pets but it seems you allowed them, and if you do you take on the additional risk. There is nothing about keeping dogs out of certain areas etc. Also the pool is marked as 'private/shared' which I don't t understand. You are going to find it difficult to claim money as you have broken your own rules re pets - you'll have to rely on your guests admitting damage AND agreeing to pay some/all of the cost. Good luck.
