Friend from Russia needs booking information to get traveling visa

So, I'm visiting Greece in June with a friend from Russia and others. In order to get a visa, he needs a document proving that he has booked a place to stay. I was planning to book an airbnb for all of us but only my name would be on the booking document. A way to circumvent that would be for him to do the booking for us, however he doesn't have the financial resources to do that unless we wired him money which would be difficult since he's in Russia.

Is there a way to include his name in the booking, such that he has documents proving that he will be staying at this airbnb?

In bookings for multiple persons you can invite the others, @Carl104. You put their emails and/phones and they will be added to the trip. Is that enough for your friend?

Would the name be added to the order in some shape or form? It would be good if his name was on the invoice

Wouldn't the obvious solution be for your friend to make the booking?

Yes but wouldn't he need to make the payment through his airbnb account? The issue right now is that I can afford the 2wk booking but he can't.
