I had to cancel a reservation due to sudden passing of our baby grandson and required an extra room

I have supporting document from the funeral home verifying the dates and want to know how to forward this to airbnb so as to avoid the penalty.

@Ingrid32 Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear about that as I'm sure everyone in the community is. The only thing I can suggest is to phone AirBnB and explain. If they want to see the suporting document they'll tell you how to get it to them. The numbers for the US and Canada are +1-415-800-5959 and +1-855-424-7262 (toll-free).

Oh, dear God. I just want to say how very very sorry I am for your loss. You must be devastated. I will keep your family in my prayers.

I see a lot of people are suggesting to contact Airbnb on Twitter or to look up the phone number for the Airbnb in your area. Hope that helps. God bless you, Ingrid.

First of all my thoughts are with you and I will send thoughts of strenghth as you deal with such a devestating event.

Here is a link that may have another helpful contact--Community experts. You will have to be able to scan and upload the documents, but it appears this is a pretty quick way to get a response.
