My host is not responding - trip in a week. What to do?

When I first sent a message before booking the place, the host responded. But right after I booked the place, I asked him for checkin instructions. He didn't respond. I sent a message again yesterday asking for checkin instructions, he still hasn't responded. My trip is in a week. How long do I wait? I don't want to wait till the last day and get stranded without a place to stay. Please let me know what to do.

So sorry this has happened to you. I would try (1) calling the host at the phone number in your confirmation, then (2) calling Airbnb customer support at 1-855-424-7262

Thanks Lisa. Will give him time till tomorrow morning, in case he was busy during the weekend. Will try calling him as you suggested and then call customer support.

Hi Quincy, planning to wait till tomorrow morning to give the host some more time to respond. After that will call the host and contact customer service if needed. Thanks!

@Justina15 I do not give my codes for check in until 3-4 days before arrival, but I tell the guests this. If they are traveling and need them sooner I will give them the information when requested. No response from a host is not acceptable. As @Lisa723 says call AirBnB they will contact the host and ask them to reply to you. 

Hi Letitia, our flight will be arriving very late at night. I just wanted information on when/where to meet him and what the procedure is. If there is code involved, he can just send me a note saying he will give it later. Like you said the no response part is what is bothering me. Will try calling him tomorrow morning and the contact customer service if needed. Thanks!

We tried calling him and couldn't reach him. We texted him yesterday and he replied back today with an oneliner that he'll get back. Haven't heard anything else from him so far.  Since he responded, we decided to wait and give him some more time.
