Hi, sorry to be using this platform, but I've attempted to find a resolution with PayPal and I'm currently still awaiting their response.
I'm a South African 🇿🇦 and started our Airbnb in November 2017. Fortunately, the listing has done very well 😅 recently PayPal has put a limitation on my withdrawals to my bank account because of personal details I needed to submit. I therefore submitted my ID and a levy statement to prove identity and proof of address.
I've been queried on the levy statement as they need a government issued document, or a bank statement with full names. When I did however wanted to submit such docs, all the ticks on PayPal were green, and I didn't receive this message again about proof of ID.
I've been sent another email before the weekend from PayPal and it states I have now reached my annual withdrawal limit. I have reached out to PayPal but with automated responses I can only do so much instead of communicating with an agent directly.
Any advise as to how I can further my case as I've met the requirements? I also need to adhere to South Africans laws, monies received I need to withdraw from PayPal within 30 days of receipt.
Any assistance would go a long way. I humbly thank you for taking time to read this.
