Pricing

My business is seasonal- now is off season for a couple of months. Why is my cheaper price not reflected now on my 1 st page. Thank you Sybel

@Sybel0 based on what I know, the price that is you see on the main page when guest search/in the listing is the based price that you set for that particular listing and not the varies price that you manually edit in the calendar.

Dear Farsh thank you for your reply. Is this not a flaw in the system? How would a potential customer know that I'm on special currently? Couldn't the parameters be shown on the 1st page

What a lovely place you have, @Sybel0!  I can see why you are a Super Host.  Perhaps this is the first time you are modifying your rates for low season.  I also have a seasonal listing.  If I look at your calendar your rate is much lower than you base rate.  What I do is change the base rate to reflect my average rate for the particular season I am in.   Most searches do include dates, so the rates reflected would be your lower rate.  I think the present automated system of the base rate being separately entered from the calendar rate is for travelers looking to compare multiple listing without specific dates.  Make sense?

Thank you Linda for taking the time to share your knowledge. I'm still more than just a bit computer challenged, and all that it entails. Give me spaces and real people and I'm in my element. Surely what I suggested could be considered for all the others just like me.
