Can't message anybody here in the Community Center - what is the hang up?

For quite a while now  I cannot send anybody a message here in the CC: I am logged in, I tried it on desktop via Firefox and Safari, tried it on the app on Ipad and Iphone - nothing, always grayed out.....

first I try the red "send message" box that comes up when clicking on someone's profile pic: a larger field comes up where I can enter text, but at the bottom, the "send" button is always grayed out. So then I also try it by clicking on "view profile", next to that initial "send message" : a new screen comes up, with a green "send message" button to the left of "Airbnb profile". Trying that gets me the same result: a  writing field comes up, but the send button at the bottom is grayed out.

Very frustrating - anybody having the same experience? Anybody knows how to fix it?

Strangely enough,now and then I am getting messages from community members, and if I want to respond to any such message I can! But I cannot initiate a new message. Help!

Hello @Annette33,

Shoot me down if you've already tried this but I noticed that the greyed out "Send" button becomes active only when I'veafter typing text in both the "Subject" and text message areas.
