Receiving enquiries/contacts by email

Hi, I've set up a listing for my house but when I test the 'Contact Host' link I get no emails, just a message I can only see if I the Airbnb page is open. If I make a 'request to book' I get nothing. How do I set things so I get an email in both cases? 

Also, looking at my messages inbox, my test mentions a totally different property!

@Ian87  Go to your account and the email preferences are allowed if you want them.

Nope, I've ticked those boxes in 'account settings' and re-tested the contact methods - nothing. I have of course checked my spam folder, ensured the listed email is correct, and all that...
