Hi,
My first booking on airbnb has been less than great
On the day of my stay my host called me to let me know that the previous tenants had vomited throughout her home and it was unusable.
As we were already on the road & without internet, we did old school stop & check in when we found a vacancy sign.
The host told me that she would action a full refund.
So far I have only received what I now understand, is her portion of my payment.
Airbnb have not paid the outstanding $105.14 booking/service whatever fee.
apparently contacting Airbnb is an Olympic event. the Australian phone number is out of state & will cost me a fortune to call.
Is there a simpler way to have this resoved?
