Review Past 14 days - 111 West 7th Street, Los Angeles, CA

I need to leave a review past 14 days as it’s important for you to know who is hosting on your platform.

Location:

111 West 7th Street, Los Angeles, CA

HUGE! 2-Story Hip Artist Loft , Center of DTLA

pros:

it’s a huge loft

spacious and artsy

the hosts respond almost right away when we message

cons:

- Before arrival, we got a message from our host saying the check-in would be late. This was due to a broken sofa leg that was caused by previous tenant.

- When we finally checked in, we decided to watch TV.. but however, the TV doesn’t work. We let the host know and were told that the previous tenant may have spilled something and blew the socket. To fix this - they insisted on having someone from the building come by and knock with or without us there. This gave me anxiety as having someone while we weren’t there is not something I even do in my own home. We weren’t asked but told. I had to write a long message to her to explain this.

-When I took a shower, the tub filled up and would take a very long time to clear. Also let the host know - but all I got was “thanks for your review”

- I also found hair strands all over the floor and on multiple mugs. Host also said “thanks for your review” when I let them know

- We had a knock on the door from previous Air BNB tenant (not sure how they even got in) but this was concerning when they let us know they were charged for an air mattress was missing. They also stated they knew the tub was plugged and the sofa was broken.

- When asked for a refund or partial refund. We were declined and only given a few hours of checkout and to leave a “positive review”.

I don’t believe this is fair. Nor is missing the deadline for a review fair. I had anxiety on my so called vacation stay away from home.

@Fara122  This is a discussion forum for hosts and guests, not Airbnb customer service.

I can assure you they won't let you leave a review past the 14 day deadline, but you need to contact Airbnb directly and tell them about all this. There is a large pinned post on the first page of this Help forum "Contact Airbnb" that tells you the ways to get in touch with them.

@Fara122  I am just curious why you had not left a review in 14 days after you checked out.
