Review a guest

Hi,

Is it possible to leave a reference or a review for a guest who has just stayed in our apartment? How do i do this?

Hi @Emily-and-Scott0,

Did this guest stay through Airbnb or was it outside of Airbnb.  If it was through Airbnb, you will receive an email a day after they check out where you can review the guest.  

If you want to provide a reference for a guest, you can do this just the same way hosts can receive references.  Airbnb has a help article on this which can be found here: https://www.airbnb.ca/help/article/173/how-do-references-work

hi Dave and Deb, I have just been told by Airbnb support that policy has changed and hosts can no longer write or receive reference. (since June 2018).

Usually, the day after they check out, you will get a notice on your dashboard to leave a review.
