Glitch in current Review system

Hi,

Just wondering if anybody else out there gone through the same frustration I have.

I found a glitch on this review system. Me as a host, won’t get my good reviews up there without guest leaving their reviews. The glitch is that some terrible and disgraceful guests could deliberately not to leave any reviews or comments so that the bad but objective reviews they have received from the hosts won’t appear on theirs. In a way, they can just get away from that, easily. But the poor host missed out one point/review for that particular visit and NEVER have the say or share to other hosts in regards to the terrible hosting experience they had.

There should be a default good/positive review within that 14days review windows. For example, both guest and host will receive a positive by Airbnb default within a certain review period(I.e 14days). That is, if you have any objections or disagreements to the default positive feedback/review you should have done your review before the 14days. Or, in my case, I should still have the say to share with others how terrible you were as a guest, but I won’t lose my good review just because you intentionally not to write me one.

That sounds way more logic and reasonable isn’t it?

The guest and the host both have an opportunity to leave a review. Either one can opt out and not leave a review.  If one party leaves a review and the other party does not, then after 14 days the review that was written will post. You as a host will always have the opportunity to leave a review. If you think the guest is likely to leave a bad review, then pray that they leave no review at all. The review that you write about the guest will show on their profile, whether or not they leave a review about you. There is no glitch.
