Last few days i get sms messages where someone discusses things with someone else. im part of the community but i dont know the messager or the receiver. anyone can help me with that? I just need that the one who put his phone number in his account corrects it because i get the answers supposed for him...
@Tomas4 Why don't you respond to the sms's and tell the sender and receiver that they have the wrong phone number? No one in the Community has access to your phone number. They can send messages and depending on your notification settings may come to you as sms's but the actual phone number is what is stored in your account on Airbnb. Perhaps another user transposed their number and the result was your number?
Does anyone know how to fix this? Replying with an explanation doesn't help, because it's a no-reply type SMS from Airbnb forwarding the guest's message to me, instead of the intended host.
I'm receiving another host's SMS's, and when I try to verify that I have my number, it says I can't verify that number. That's a bug. It should let me show that I own that number, and not the previous host, to correct the wrong messages coming to me.
