This situation has happened to me, yes!!
My guest have stolen:
1. Higienic products
Solution: I put a small soap pot and body lotion pot for them and ask to ask me if they want more
Solution 2: I hide my own products
Solution 3: I ask guest to put their belonggings in their own room
Solution 4: I ask the guest if he/she forgot and take any product by mistake (usually in the last day, they put some thing in their bag).
2. Food (Honey / extra coffees / tea / etc.)
Solution: I hide it outside the kitchen
Solution 2: I HAVE NEVER DONE it, but I will start reviewing these actings
3. Towels
Solution: not big towels, only small
Solution 2: I search for them in the last day
Solution 3: Text them asking where is it, and asking them to buy me or pay me a new one with similar characteristics
It's incredible when you realised that a super nice person is actually stealing things. Very hard to manage, at least for me.
