Hi there,
I was looking forward to becoming a Super Host and I thought I had achieved all the requirements, obviously not. Can anyone enlighten me as to where I am not achieving them. I have copied and past my Host Standards.
Thank you.
Regards Ingrid

Hi @Ingrid3 From what I can see, there is absolutely no reason you shouldn't have recieved your Super Host badge. You've met all the criteria, most definitely. We had the same experience - all I can think is that the system is flawed. You could contact Airbnb & ask. - Karen
By the badge on your picture, you are a SUPER HOST! or is it fake?
@Sion2 wrote:I have qualified and over qualified for Superhost status but after review they said I had to wait until Jan’s review. I exceeded every requirement all Five stars and 100% in every stat. Then I saw several Superhosts with only 1-7 reviews!!! So it seems really unfair. I am doing the work
Look at the dates of the posts, you are responding to an old post...they added the flag after I got it in Jan and it was attached to this post, and go it renewed last week for a second time. Also look at the other posters here who did later get their status. These posts are not fake.
hey there. who is really pissed at airbnb. like really really not happy. especially really jaded superhosts?
I am not unhappy with Airbnb, and I just earned my second Superhost status. That takes work and friendliness...nothing jaded about that.
Airbnb needs to change back to the original Super host criteria and not leave us at the mercy of certain guests who deliberately leave you a low review to harm you for reasons beyond your control. I’ve had people leave me a low review because “it didn’t have a kitchen” or they saw “a better deal” after they rented and stayed with me. And those “better deals” are never available because they’re always full and they have add-on pricing that these new guests didn’t bother to calculate. We should never be at the mercy of guests like that because we work very hard to provide the best service possible and cannot control the illusions of some uninformed guests.
Dear Ricky & Ed: You have really, really articulated the issues confronting the hosts, particularly super hosts very well. The review of the guest is not etched in gold. When reviews are made by the guest, under circumstances where the guest does his review out of reasons extraneous, such review must be thrown out. The guest is nothing to loose by spewing venom. But the host has everythign to loose. The guest handout million dollar home to AIRBNB's guest in the first place. The AIRBNB must recognise that. AIRBNB has a successful business because of good homes and the labor put by the host. The entire downside happens right now to be that of the "Host". Your hundereds of good review does not come to your rescue with AIRBNB in making your point. That is unfair. The balance of convenience would have to be that of the host. It can not be skewed in favor of the guest. Best, RK
I agree 100% cause i know I go all out for my guests, I give everything, clean expensive linens, towels, body wash, tooth paste, tooth brush, body lotion, coffee tea creamer, snacks my gusts are always happy and comfortable. I treat my guests the way I would want to be treated. so you are right, we are working hard to stay in good standing with airbnb, and the guests really has nothing to loose.
I have the same issue. I gave brand new linen to every guest and did all the preparation myself. The rent I received was far below than market. Only reward I was expecting is Super host badge.
waiting for any response. Then turn into Reverse Super Host. Will list all my properties with far cheaper price. Get hundreds of booking. Then sit back and cancel every bookings on close to booking day.
@Mohanthas0 Your profile says you're a Super Host. The badge has just not been placed on your profile picture yet. Mine is the same.
I have the same question, I did call Airbnb and was told that I had a cancellation, I did not have a cancellation airbnb asked the guest to cancel, since they wanted to leave, the sister thought that was too much money, invited them to come stay with her, so they planned a lie to get out of the cancellation. They even pour some red juice in the refridgerator took pictures and showed it to airbnb that the place was not clean, these were the same people when they first came in was so excited about the place until the sister came the whole atmosphere changes. Now airbnb is putting the blame on me.This is not fair at all you cannot believe the guest over us all the time.
I was reading the Laura announcement for the new superhost(a little bit dated ) mentioning that we should have received something that I didnt receive it ....so I wonder what it was and what concerning ?
i find sometimes so difficult to have a focused conversation on what I am interested for ....anyhow hope to understand better what Laura wanted to say to us.....
thanks again and cheers

Hi, I am a Super Host with a gorgeous property on north coast of Jamaica.
When will Super Host Plus roll out here & in Caribbean? Nicola
How to get 4.8 from 4.7?
Hey @Byron119 , I had to look at your listing to find out your current number of reviews (10). This is great! Since you don't have many reviews, it is easier to change your score. I calculated that you need 5 additional 5* reviews to change your average rating from a 4.70 to a 4.80, while receiving no other lower ratings. The math was easy compared to actually realizing this goal. How do you consistently earn 5* reviews and avoid guests that give lower scores? Or does it even really matter? I have learned a lot from experienced hosts on this forum with multiple perspectives: (1) don't set your price too low, as it does not tend to attract the best guests (2) be clear in your listing description (3) under-promise and over-deliver (4) maintain (and expect) excellent communication before, during and after the stay. You will find much, much more here buried in informative and entertaining threads. My advice is to read up on this forum and develop your own hosting style. Good luck!
I was a super host and lost if for a few reviews. Now I am almost there again and have fulfilled every requirement except the stars, I have 4.6 and the min is 4.8, so Inhave been giving special offers and really focusing on friendly and proactive service and have received 4 - 5 star reviews and it has not budged my star rating. Really frustrated.
