Tools for Vacation Rental Legislation + Market Research

Hi all, Im looking for tools to find the current vacation rental legislation in individual cities.  Seems AirDNA gives a score but I dont understand how they determine that. Any tips?

Also Im looking for tools to do market research for new markets to vacation rental. Familiar with AirDNA and Mashvisor. Any others?

This is not foolproof, but is updated regularly and gives a reasonably accurate overview of regs in individual cities. It's quite a helpful resource.

A more comprehensive registry is currently being compiled by Dee, the moderator of Global Hosting Forum, but it's not live yet. 

Airdna is still the best option for researching market stats.
