Using my Airbnb for sexual encounters

Using my Airbnb for sexual encounters

I had one couple last week who never emerged in a week and ending up seriously damaging the bedding. You are talking boiling hot day, windows and doors closed, now it looks as if I have another couple who have come for this reason. My Airbnb is very beautifully situated in the garden, very private but I do not want this to keep happening. Any suggestions?

It's very odd. There is nothing about your listing that screams 'sex den' to me. The only thing is that you mention it is 'isolated', so maybe that is what is attracting this demographic? Perhaps try removing that reference and seeing what happens...

What vetting questions do you use as part of your booking process @Jacki17 ?

If you have a secluded premises it will attract those wanting to stay for 'romantic encounters'

This isn't romantic this is something else! I am on instant book and in 3 years have never had this problem before.

Are these couples or do you think it might be working girls or pre-arranged hook-ups?

How was the chat pre-arrival?

I think they are hook ups, they do not want to talk to me, today's didn't. It was very odd. A lovely inviting hammock and deck in the sunshine and they went straight indoors and closed the doors, for about 5 hours.

Crack smokers probably. or maybe they were just methin around. Did it smell like ass afterwards?? Any poo on the sheets?? I hear Dawn dish soap works for poo stains.

@Jacki17 Vikki who stayed with you in July doesn't seem to have an account anymore - Very odd.

Well I can't tell you on here what went on but Airbnb kindly reimbursed me for the damage.

@Mike-And-Jane0  I noticed that too.

@Jacki17  do you think your listing has been promoted somewhere for folks looking for ‘sexy times’?

if you’re on IB you might think about switching it off and have a good pre-booking ‘chat’ with folks before approving.

Oh No!!! I hope not! I shall have to close down.

@Amanda660 where would a listing be advertised?

@Mike-And-Jane0 happy to report that I have no knowledge in these areas. ☺️

Done!!

Thank you, it has been very good to talk to you all about this. In the past I have had enquiries about how remote it is, maybe 3 or 4, always similar wording and I have replied saying that my neighbour is usually in his vegetable patch and they haven't booked. Perhaps there are scouts looking for places to make porn videos, I shudder at the thought of my innocent little place becoming such a venue!!
