Where do I introduce myself?

Where do I introduce myself?

I was asked to join here and introduce myself, but I can't see where.

Am I supposed to introduce myself to each of the different communities?

I wanted to introduce my very successful Airbnb property to all the hosts, because I'm selling it, but I was told that I cannot do that.

That seems strange.

It seems to me to be very logical to have a for sale forum for houses and other property like furniture alike.

I'm as confused here as I am in Airbnb, though I've become a superhost in less than 6 months of starting with my house.

Well, hello everyone......

I wonder if this post will be published or cut?

@Richard

Can you estimate how much it will raise the price per sq. meter by % in having super host status since it a commercial enterprise as opposed to a private dwelling?

Could you post you average monthly income etc to wet Host interest in your property, just an idea i hope you won't think I'm a smart ass.

Hi Cormac,

I don't think it will raise the price.

Average takings for the 8 months from November 2016 - June 2017 are substantial, and increasing all the time, but I have a huge mortgage to pay, and a huge cleaning bill each month, lowering the net profit considerably.

I'm now considering redeveloping my site into student accommodation as I'm right next door to the university.

Regards,

Richard

Forget about Student accommodating, I had a substantial property in nine large unit wrecked by students an example of which is one bathroom had nineteen holes drilled into the tiles for their fixtures and fitting which they removed on leaving, while my property manager stood idly by and did nothing. To say I was livid would be an understatement, a month’s rent was lost in repair bills just for the one bathroom.

Erecting shelving on the wood panelling in the kitchen area when there was ample shelving for the three students that were meant to be sharing the flat that morph into five, their average rent when down but my repair and maintenance bills went up.

Not to forget the students using the common area electricity to run disco lighting and music equipment in my large back Garden which attracted a crowd of eighty people and the police.

You have a beautiful home, keep it that way because if you go down the route of students, it will be wreck and it would appear the more privilege backgrounds they come from the less they care.

Thanks Cormac, for your information.

We had considered that possibility, and the group reckoned that protection for all those issues would have to be built into the build.

A long way to go yet.

Cheers,

Richard
