my calender blocked for verification process of guest

 it just happened to me that  the guest asked me for enquiry for stay,i said yes but after that the date was blocked in my calender but the guest hasn't paid yet and its showing like this

''Verification pending
The guest must complete Verified ID within 12 hours to confirm the reservation''

so  it kepps blocking the calendar for the dates that guest without verification is interested in.

 

Not fair for host since can't receive anybody if the dates keep being blocked by this unverified guest. 

I think that no guest without verifications should not allow to book.please help me with this.

Hi @Ashwini0 It is frustrating, but the time they have to be verified is limited to 24 hours, so if they don't get vertified, the dates are unblocked after only 24 hours. It's not too long a time to have those dates unavailable for booking & I think in most cases, the original guest does get verified & is booked within that time frame. Hope that helps - Karen

I am having this same situation. But my guest has all the verifications checked off on her profile. But it still says she has 12 hrs. to complete verifications.  I can't figure out how to make it possible for her to book my home. We've been communicating for weeks and she is now ready to book. This seems crazy!  I can only send her a message but can't figure out a fix for the problem.

Sometimes it helps to tell the guest to cancel the inquiry and start the process over again.

How can you contact the guest, though? I can´t find any way. I can see a picture and a first name, but no way to contact the person. Thank you, all the best! Julia
