seeking advice

I had a guest who checked in yesterday. She sent me near 30 messages within one hour. She told me there are no salad bowl, no plate, no spatula wooden spoon, no oven trays, no enough pans and pots. The fact is I can see most of them on the images that she sent to me.  My place has hosted more than 20 groups. Some groups stayed more than 10 days. I didn’t get any complaint about lack of kitchen utensils. I guessed this guest loves cooking very much and my kitchen utensils do not meet her expectation. Therefore, I offered $100.00 off for her to buy something she thinks necessary. I made this offer because I was trying to be a nice host only. However, she request £300 refund or terminate reservation immediately. She is paying AUD$400 per night for 4 bedroom house for 7 days. I don’t think it is reasonable to request near AUD$600 refund for not providing multiple pans and pots or large size plates or spatula wooden spoon.

I am a new host. Do you people think guest request is reasonable? How can I stop her from leaving bad review if I reject her request.

It is ongoing reservation issue if guest is asking for something more then expected. Then you can involve Airbnb in this case. Some guest demand cannot be fulfilled.

Write to Airbnb about that to avoid any bad review or further demands by guest. Airbnb will get in touch with the guest.
