Hosting in Hamburg

Hallo,

I have an apartment with 2 bedrooms and I would like to rent one of the room now and then in aribnb.

Since I will travel soon to Australia for few weeks, I would like to rent it in airbnb and potentially thereafter depending on my schedule. 

Does anyone know how to follow the rules and regulations of hosting while being a full-time employee? Reading many articles online has told me, I can rent it however, only for a maximum of 2months per year? 

Could anyone give me a little help with how this works? Specially with the whole taxing system?
