additional charges

I want to book a accommodation and in the conversation with the host now she mentions I have to pay the costs for cleaning, electr, laundry, etc. upon arrival to the local apartment manager (= 110 Euro for the 1st week for 2 people).

First of all, this information is not provided in the Airbnb ad and  the topic only accidentally came up, because I have started a conversation with the host.

What if I had used the instant booking and never was informed beforehand about these additionals costs?

Ja das ist sehr ärgerlich, wenn der Gastgeber dann mit solchen Extras aufwarten will. Barzahlungen ausserhalb von Airbnb sind tatsächlich unzulässig, Reinigungskosten kann der Gastgeber z.B. ganz normal in seinem Inserat angeben, wie alle Gastgeber (die eine Reinigungsgebühr nehmen) das machen (und dann ist es für dich als Gast bei Buchung auch sofort einsehbar!). Extra Strom abzurechnen ist auch nicht die Regel - fast jeder Gastgeber bindet das in seinen Preisen mit ein!

Mein Rat: wenn du noch die Möglichkeit hast, schau dich nach einer andren Unterkunft um - wenn das so losgeht...., wer weiss, was noch alles kommt.

@Sabrina181..... Do you have booked? On Airbnb, you will see all the costs, including cleaning etc. on the advertisment. If not, look for another location....
