5 arrested for Orinda Shooting

Hi Folks

It's been anmounced that there's been 5 arrests made in relation to the Orinda shooting in USA.

If someone who is on a laptop would please be so kind to upload the articles that appeared online around 6-7 hours ago for others to read.

They pop up using keyword AIRBNB under "news" online.

As the matter will be subjudice with Court appearances we will have to respect laws in place, whether we like it or not.

@Helen427, here are some links. As you can see in the second and third links, the parents of the victims are claiming that Airbnb was negligent by failing to vet the people renting the house and are filing a lawsuit.

@Jude9 That thread didn't "move on"- it evolved and it is still talking about exactly what factors in the way Airbnb runs its platform allowed a situation like that to happen. And that the "solutions" Airbnb is coming up with to ensure these kinds of things don't happen again aren't going to work.

Of course people care. Do I care more about the 5 people who died than I care about all the other people who got shot this week, last week, next month, last year, this year? Do I care more about the Orinda shooting than I care about all the innocent civilians being killed around the world every day as "collateral damage"? People die unnecessarily every day, all over the world. 

But I do hope they catch and lock up those Orinda shooters.

CA is a joke with criminals. They get away with anything because the liberal politicians have tied the police officers hands. To those who live in other countries or states, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Your life is worth more and between the high prices and the mental patients who live and **bleep** on the streets it’s just no longer worth it to give your money to California. Born and raised in California and it’s gotten so bad. We live in Bishop for work and own in Arizona because of all the problems in CA. The mental patients are clearly running the asylum.
