A HOST IS NO LONGER ABLE TO QUOTE A WEEKLY RATE - WHY? AND ALSO WHY HAVE HOSTS NOT BEEN INFORMED?

i HAVE SPENT MANY HOURS TRYING TO FIND HOW TO LOCATE THE ZONE TO CHANGE MY WEEKLY RATES.   AFTER ALL I HAVE SPENT HOURS POSTING THEM UNTIL WELL INTO 2018.   SO i MANAGED TO RING AIRBNB TO FIND OUT HOW TO DO IT AND IN FACT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST DID RING ME BACK TO TELL ME THAT THIS FUNCTION IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE WITH AIRBNB IT IS ONLY NOW DEALING WITH DAILY RATES.   WE DO NOT ENCOURAGE TRAVELLERS FOR LOW NUMBER OF NIGHTS AS THE MARKET IS STRONG ENOUGH IN THE COSTA DEL SOL TO SET WEEKLY PLUS RATES.   SO I AM DISAPPOINTED ON TWO FRONTS I.E. THAT AIRBNB HAVE NOT INFORMED HOSTS ABOUT THIS CHANGE WHICH OCURRED LAST WEEK, AND ALSO THAT THE WEB DESIGN HAS BEEN CHANGED AT ALL.

ON ANOTHER MATTER I HAVE REQUESTED A FREE PHOTOGRAPHER AND NOW HAVE RECEIVED WEB PROGRAMME FEEDBACK TO STATE THAT THIS SERVICE IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE IN THIS ZONE.

I AM DISAPPOINTED WITH AIRBNB CUSTOMER CARE

I have a house which i have just put on airbnb in Jeffries Bay, South Africa and my rates over the December holidays are more expensive but i have no idea how to change them or whether this is at all possible. Maybe there is a way so if somebody can help that will be great.

Pier - you go to your calendar for the month that you want to change.  On the right hand side is the information regarding rates. You click on the days you want to change so they are highlighted and then go to the calender on the right hand side and select the dates you want to change.  The Price box is there too, and you just delete what is in the price box and put your new rate in, and then click and save.

Hi @Marion153

This is a forum for hosts so not staffed by Airbnb.

In your situation, I would just find a local photographer who specialises in interiors. It won't cost too much for an hour shoot, plus finishing fo 25-30 shots, and you can offset this against tax as a business expense. And has you retain copyright you can use the images on your own media to promote your listing.
