A prospective guest doesn't have a photo. Should I accept his reservation?

He sounds ok, but I've never hosted anyone in the past without a photo

Hi @Gina104

You can write message to the guests ask to upload photo. I think its not a big deal, you can just say, it would be nice to know who I am expecting at my front door 🙂

Hello Gina,

As I posted a few days ago, Airbnb is testing on some of the users (like me and, maybe you?) not displaying the guest photo until the booking is accepted. If it's a booking request you should be able to see the photo once you accept. If this booking is already confirmed and still no photo then you can ask gently through the Airbnb chat that the user uploads a photo or sends it to you by e-mail to make sure you allow the right person into your home.

Oh! And at first I used to be really into having the guest displayed photos and now I don't really care. Maybe I've been lucky and had mostly great experiences and the bad ones would not have matter if I saw the photo or not. 🙂
