Add a day special rate

Recently I saw a pop up that said something about adding an extra day for only $$$$.  It seemed to be a general pop up.  How is that done?

I have not seen this pop-up.  But i can imagine, for example,  when a guest is interested in a 6 nights stay, a message will tell the guest to consider a 7 nights stay, as the extra night will be a bargain (due to the weekly discount applying)
