I've noticed that the list price of my unit shows up differently when people browse or book than what I've listed. I'm in South Africa and have listed it in South African Rand (ZAR) - my payout is also to a South African bank and is in ZAR.
I have smart pricing on, with the base price being 465 ZAR, the minimum at 400 ZAR and the maximum at 550 ZAR. I recently received a request to book in which the requester was offered 379 ZAR... 21 rand below my minimum. That was before the percentage taken by AirBnB. While 21 rand is not a huge amount of money (about 2 USD), it is still quite annoying.
Any idea why this is happening and how I can fix it? I set the minimum as the minimum for a reason and I don't like it being offered for less than that without my knowledge!

You do offer a weekly discount of 10% - could that be it ?
I've noticed this happen on my booking as well. I've sent a message to Airbnb to try to figure out what's happening and am currently waiting for a response...
This morning I recieved an automatic new booking confirmation for a $150 dollars a day less on a 3 day booking. A total of $450 less than what I posted for the Christmas weekend. it was done with my knowledge or a notification asking me if I would accept the change in price.
Does Airbnb have the right to change our price without notifying us? If so, can someone tell where in the fine print does it give them permission to do so? thanks
@Hank11 Call AirBnB, they can cancel the reservation since it was not the price listed by you. They can also explain how this happened to you as they can see what prices you have set.
