@Pete28  Step in the right direction. Wonder if all the other airlines will follow suit, I would imagine so, it's a big problem for them. Of course airbnb will probably be the last hold-out. Brian C. doesn't have to try to clean up dog hair.

I would be a lot more sympathetic to 'request to book' from guests with support animals if they could verify their emotional support claim with evidence from Doctor. If Alaska can do it, so can Airbnb.
