Altering date.

MY guest asked to change the date to a day earlier, which I had no problem with.  So I sent the date alter request and she received it. She clicked "yes" but my date still shows the old date.  What's the scoop? Will I still get paid only a day late?  Especially since she's going to be in another airbnb on the date that she was supposed to be here.
