Base Price line has disappeared?

Hello Fellow Hosts, Wondering if this has happened to any of you... I used to have a base price line located next to my smart pricing minimum & maximum within my pricing settings. It disappeared about a week ago. I've logged in from various browsers, on my phone, ipad, and desktop computer and on the app. Nothing.

The purpose of the base price was to give you a default price for when smart pricing is not valid.  In the past, smart pricing was only valid for four months I think.  Airbnb sent out an email maybe a week or two ago saying "hey!  good news!  Smart Pricing now works year round!"  

There have been a lot of people on here complaining about prices for special holidays in the future getting overriden - my best guess is that occurred with the roll out of the improved smart pricing.

The other thing that occurred is base price went away because it now serves no purpose.  Now you just set a max and minimum and smart pricing keeps on calculating way out into the future, forever I suppose.

Thanks for your response, Melanie. I was aware of the new policy that smart pricing is now for all dates but the base price does appear on the listing page that guests see when looking or searching within a price criteria. My concern is there doesn't seem to be a way to change that now. The price shown is what my base price used to be which is neither the current minimum or maximum.
